CAMPERDOWN’S hospital staff and patients received a lovely gift over the Easter period by a kind-hearted person.

Over the Easter weekend, Bodhi Taylor of Albury gifted the hospital his prize from Camperdown’s Easter treasure hunt.

Bodhi was visiting family in Camperdown.

Nurse Rebecca Pemberton, who was working at the time, called the gesture “wonderful”.

“We get quite busy here on weekends, so for that little boy to come in and donate something he won himself was just wonderful,” she said.

“We were blown away by his generosity at such a young age, which was very lovely to see.

“It was very nice of him to go out of his way and to try to make our day, and not just the staff but the patients’ day as well.

“It’s definitely put a smile on everyone’s faces over Easter.”

South West Healthcare put out a post on Facebook, calling Bodhi an “amazing kid” for his generosity.

“Shout out to Bodhi Taylor, who this weekend donated his Easter treasure hunt prize to the patients and staff at the Camperdown Acute Ward,” it read.

“Bodhi was in Camperdown visiting friends and family and took part in the town’s Easter treasure hunt, run by local traders.

“Having won one of the main prizes he decided he’d donate it to the hospital to brighten someone else day - what an amazing kid!”
