WOORNDOO Mortlake will have all six of its teams contesting Mininera League finals, starting this weekend.

WOORNDOO Mortlake will have all six of its teams contesting Mininera League finals, starting this weekend.
After an extremely successful home and away season, the Tigers have finished in the top five in all divisions of football and netball.
The club’s senior and reserves football sides both finished second on their respective ladders, while in the netball, the Tigers finished top of the ladder in the 18 and under competition, third in B grade, 15 and under and 13 and under, and fourth in A and C grades.
These placings will see the Tigers represented in both the qualifying and elimination finals this weekend, with games as follows:
• Qualifying final, Saturday August 19 at Tatyoon:
Football
12 noon, reserves – Woorndoo Mortlake v Lismore Derrinallum
2.15pm, seniors – Woorndoo Mortlake v Wickliffe Lake Bolac
Netball
10am, 13 and under – Woorndoo Mortlake v Penshurst
11am, 15 and under – Woorndoo Mortlake v Wickliffe Lake Bolac
2pm, B grade – Woorndoo Mortlake v Glenthompson Dunkeld
• Elimination final, Sunday, August 20 at Lake Bolac:
Netball
1pm, C grade – Woorndoo Mortlake v Lismore Derrinallum
2pm, A grade – Woorndoo Mortlake v Penshurst.
