Animals of Oz drops in

THE Cobden Library had a number of rather irregular visitors last week.
From a possum to blue tongue lizard aptly named Bubblegum – a variety of Australian animals spent time with youngsters at the Library last Wednesday when Animals of Oz did a presentation.
Librarian Faith Chapman was pleased with the turnout with 35 children and 18 adults attending.
“It was great, I was very happy,” she said.
“The Corangamite Shire are so good at organising activities for the school holidays.”
Ms Chapman said the visit was the first time Animals of Oz had been at the library.
She said the children were excited to see the animals close up, with an opportunity to touch them also.
