April proves wet
APRIL proved a mixed bag for Cobden and surrounds, with warm weather later in the month and high rainfall.

APRIL proved a mixed bag for Cobden and surrounds, with warm weather later in the month and high rainfall.
The monthly rainfall figure was 90.4mm, well above the long-term average of 66.4mm.
The highest daily rainfall figure was 24.6mm which fell on April 16.
So far this year, 251mm of rain has hit the ground over Cobden and surrounds which is well above the 187.8mm for the same time frame last year.
