ART lovers were in seventh heaven in Cobden over the weekend.
The Cobden Rotary Club and the Cobden Art Group Autumn Show made its successful return after a four year hiatus.
Cobden Art Club member Marilyn Kimber said all involved were “delighted” with the number of visitors they had to their Autumn Art Show on the weekend.
Held in the Cobden Senior Citizens Hall the art show attracted more than 130 visitors from across the district and beyond.
Mrs Kimber said there were 130 artworks in a variety of mediums on display with many being sold.
“The Cobden Art Group was so happy to be able to put on the show after years of COVID,” she said.
“It takes a lot of planning, team work and preparation to produce an art show and the outcome has been excellent with many favourable comments from our visitors.
“The refreshments we provided were a welcome addition and enabled the public to enjoy our art show as a social outing.
“A huge thank you to everyone who came on the weekend. We hope everyone who attended enjoyed their day viewing the talents of the Cobden Art Group.”
As well as art, Val Coverdale’s handmade cards were very popular with 14O cards being purchased over the weekend.
