BUDDING artists took part in a water colour workshop recently.
The Camperdown and District Community House organised workshop drew a strong crowd, according to co-ordinator Emily Mercer.
She thanked local artist Delyce England who led the session for her “excellent tutorage” and those who attended the session.
“This was our first water colour art study, and we plan to run more in the future, along with exploring other mediums,” Ms Mercer said.
“If you are interested in coming along to future art workshops, or would like to know more about our workshop program, we would love to hear from you.
“We will be releasing our June-December workshop program soon, watch this space.”
Ms Mercer said during the winter months most of the creative workshops at community house where it is a warm.
“This means we are keeping the attendance numbers lower than we would if hosting the workshop at a larger venue, such as the art pavilion where we normally host our painting workshops and has a larger capacity,” she said.
“If there is a high demand for a particular workshop during this period, we can possibly hold additional sessions if there is enough interest to hold another one.”
