Asphalt laid in Port' streetscape
ASPHALT has been laid on Lord Street, Port Campbell, in time for the Christmas holidays.

Works on the town centre revitalisation will cease on Christmas Eve for the festive season break.
Contractors will return and commence finishing works from Monday, January 6 2025.
Corangamite Shire Council director sustainable development Justine Linley said the town centre will be cleaned up before the Christmas break.
“Where possible the construction barriers and temporary fences will be removed,” she said.
“Synthetic grass has been added to the west side of Lord Street to provide a temporary footpath and for dust suppression.”
Mrs Linley thanked the community for their patience.
“As anyone who has watched a TV home renovation will know, there are always hidden surprises,” she said.
“Unfortunately, in Port Campbell this included turning up unmapped services, which was frustrating, so it’s great to see the works now coming to close to completion.
“Every day over the past month there has been something new with the asphalting of Lord Street a huge transformation today.
“The block work and paving have progressed at a great rate and several tiles from our artist Dr Vicki Couzens have been installed that tell stories about the local fauna and seaside location.
“It’s been a journey but it’s great to see the vision of a fantastic new town streetscape becoming a reality.”
