Athletes brave the weather
NOT even inclement weather could dampen the spirits of more than 90 young athletes who enjoyed a special Coles community round last Friday.

The Camperdown Little Athletics Club members enjoyed a special round, dressing up in red and Coles-themed costumes to compete for some prizes and giveaways which included t-shirts, hats, drink bottles and vouchers.
Vouchers were handed out to children in each age group who demonstrated kindness, sportsmanship and a great attitude.
These were received by Eliza Eagle (under 6), Gus Murphy (under 9), Anderson Pekin (under 9), Summer Sharp (under 10), Onaya (under 11), Austin Price (under 12), Ava Cunningham and Lila Horsepole (13-17 years).
The Frederick Street oval was a sea of red as children enjoyed a variety of events.
The club celebrated the enormous contribution Coles makes, with bananas for children and new equipment through its community grants scheme, along with Little Athletics Victoria through its major sponsorship.
Thank you to all parents and carers who made a special effort last Friday night, including Jorja Sharp for her photography skills.
