Awards night for sports stars

SPORTS stars across the district will once again be recognised and honoured at the annual Sportsman’s Club Sports Star Award dinner.

The dinner, to be held at the Cobden Golf Club next Tuesday, October 15, will see awards presented in a range of categories.

Guest speaker for the evening will be Olympic medallist Penny Smith.

Sports stars, both junior and senior, will be awarded for the months of May through to September.
