Badminton set to return

CAMPERDOWN Badminton Association is on the look-out for more players for its upcoming season.

The season, which will commence next Monday week, April 29, is open to players of all ages and abilities.

Anyone wishing to play badminton this season is welcome to attend a ‘come and try’ evening next Monday (April 22).

“We welcome players of all ages, whether they have been playing badminton for years or have never played and are wanting to give it a try,” committee member Markita Shrubb said.

“It’s a fun, social game and we will place players into teams for the upcoming season.

“Our junior competition runs from 5.30pm each Monday while the seasons will start at 7pm.”

All games (including next week’s come and try sessions) are held at the Camperdown Indoor Stadium.
