Poachers’ Stuart de Bie officiated well for the NOBTS v Slugs match.

BALLBUSTERS suffered two more heavy losses in round four of Corangamite volleyball.

The side now finds itself at the wrong end of the ladder for the A grade finals.

They were overwhelmed by the might of Poachers and the skills of the Cooriemungle Bulls, who took eight sets off the hapless Busters – despite the Busters’ promising start to the spring season.

As it stands there is now very little between the top four sides even though 14 points separate first and fourth.

On any given night it’s been proven all four teams can play winning volleyball.

The great form of NOBTS’ younger players in round four carried them to a solid win over Slugs and also kept them within striking distance in the clash with Poachers.

Round four results were Bulls def Stallions 2-1, Stallions def Slugs 2-1, Poachers def Ballbusters 4-0, NOBTS def Slugs 4-0, Bulls def Ballbusters 4-0 and Poachers def NOBTS 2-1.

Ladder after last week: Poachers 26, Bulls 20, NOBTS 14, Stallions 12, Ballbusters 12, Slugs 4.
