The side enjoyed a well-earned 2-1 win over Freeballers.

Their second win of the season has added interest to the battle for fourth place on the ladder.

Bulls have maintained their supremacy with another two wins, determined to atone for their dramatic finals fall-out last season.

Freeballers are struggling with consistency and another one win-one loss night now sees them stagnating in the middle of the table.

The side will need to tighten up and learn how to win the matches against the more skilled teams.

Poachers’ back-court play let them down against the Bulls however, they later got over the line against NOBTS but not convincingly.

After their first win last round, Slugs didn’t enjoy the best of nights but it was pleasing to see them enjoying their contests.

Round five results:

Freeballers def Slugs 2-1, Bulls def Ballbusters 2-1, Bulls def Poachers 2-1, NOBTS def Slugs 4-0, Poachers def NOBTS 2-1 and Ballbusters def Freeballers 2-1.

Ladder – Bulls 36, NOBTS 28, Poachers 28, Freeballers 16, Ballbusters 8 and Slugs 4.
