Beasley wins again
PHIL Beasley earned home bragging rights with an incredible eighth championship title – and a resounding 11-shot victory over sons George and Fred – at Terang golf last weekend.

PHIL Beasley earned home bragging rights with an incredible eighth championship title – and a resounding 11-shot victory over sons George and Fred – at Terang golf last weekend.
After an absence of four years from championship glory, Phil put on a masterful display carding rounds of 68, 70, 75 and 70 (283) to claim the title on Saturday.
Next best was George Beasley on 294 from Fred Beasley 302.
Angelo Van Den Heuval was successful in winning the Bgrade championship for 2023.
After being five shots behind coming into the final round, Angelo stormed home to run out victorious by four strokes after rounds of 96, 93, 96, 90 (375).
Runner-up was Chris Coolahan (379). Next best was Nick Marshall (386).
In Cgrade Max Kavanagh showed his more highly credentialed father and brother that he has plenty to offer when it comes to the fairways, after rounds of 92, 93, 105, 103 (393), saw him take home the Cgrade championship.
Runner-up was Colin Venn (397) from Gerard Justin (403).
