Big challenge for Cats
MORTLAKE'S division one cricketers will be looking for a big day in front of the stumps this weekend for day two of their round 15 clash against Allansford Panmure.

The Cats headed to Allansford last Saturday to take on the top-of-the-table side for the second last round of the home and away season.
Having won the toss and elected to bat, the Gators showed strong form with the bat reaching 10/290 at the end of 80 overs.
Captain and opener Shashan Silva was proving troublesome for Mortlake, smashing six boundaries on his way to 60 before being caught by youngster Sam Wareham (his first of two catches for the day) off the bowling of Jack Lehmann.
Middle order batsman Kyall Timms made 59 before being bowled by Todd Lamont.
Clinton Baker proved handy with the ball for the Cats, finishing the day with figures of 4/77 off 20 overs while Lamont took 3/91 from 25.
