Both games were played in good spirits, with Hampden showing its depth of talent.
The under 23 side put on a great display of skills and team-work but were unable to overcome the home side, going down 11.9.75 to 13.13.91.
Hampden’s under 17s got the job done in a strong performance, winning 9.11.65 to 4.6.30.
In his interleague debut, Warrnambool teenager Reggie Mast was named best on ground.
