CUPPAS and laughs were shared recently at the Biggest Morning Tea event in Camperdown.

The morning began at 9.30am with a street stall selling biscuits, takeaway plates and raffle tickets.

The main event started at 10.30 at Revamp Salon, where games were played and food was shared.

Organiser Michelle Elijah said the morning tea finished around 2pm as people dropped in after morning sport commitments.

“Thank you to all who donated food, helped set up/pack up, washed dishes and kindly supported the day,” she said.

“Thank you to Peter James who manned the stall and sold lots of raffle tickets and Sweet Co cookies.

“We were blown away by an anonymous online donation of $520, this helped us blow last year’s total out of the water.”

This year, the Biggest Morning Tea raised $2006.95 for Cancer Council.

Raffle winners were Janet Wason, Kylie Warren, May Jehu, Karen Moran and Sofia Vasilev.

Kathy Simpson took out the prize for the ‘Tea-rivia’ trivia game.

Guess the Cup winner was Luca Unwin, and four lucky door prizes were given out.
