A NINE goal haul to Lucas Boyd led the Power to a 74-point win over Dennington last weekend.
With its second win in three rounds, Kolora Noorat now sits in the top five of the Warrnambool League ladder.
The Power continued the momentum it gained during the previous week’s win over South Rovers, to once again take the four points last Saturday.
Playing on the Dennington ground, Kolora Noorat led from the first bounce and was rewarded with a 74-point victory, 16.12.108 to 4.10.34.
Best players for the Power were Lucas Boyd, Joel Moloney, Darcy Vick, Fred Beasley, Joel Dillon and Ed Lee.
Alongside Boyd’s nine majors, other goal contributors were Caleb Kavanagh (2), Ryan O’Connor (2), Paddy Baker, Scott Judd and Joel Moloney.
Earlier in the day, Kolora Noorat’s reserves also enjoyed another taste of victory, defeating Dennington by 24 points - 8.8.56 to 4.8.32.
Goals went to Jesse Sorgivoanni (2), Jehrin Bateman, George Beasley, Dale Evans, Henry Flower, Nathan Glennen and Fionn Neeson.
Among the best players in what was a great team effort were Alex Martin, Sam Hutchinson, Joshua Freeman, Oscar Curran, Harry Stuart and Henry Flower.
In the under 18 match, Kolora Noorat also took the win, defeating Dennington 7.8.50 to 5.5.35.
Oscar Curran, William Kenna, Bohdie Gill, Ethan Wyss, Jack Vaughan and Lucas Castersen were listed among the best for the Power.
Goals went to Alexander Kenna (2), Jacan Brooks, William Kenna, Hamish Molan, Jack Vaughan and Ethan Wyss.
Netball results were as follows:
A grade – Kolora Noorat drew with Dennington 39-39.
A reserve – Kolora Noorat lost to Dennington 37-29.
B grade – Kolora Noorat lost to Dennington 27-32.
17 and under – Kolora Noorat lost to Dennington 30-17.
15 and under – Kolora Noorat defeated Dennington 19-17.
13 and under – Kolora Noorat lost to Dennington 6-37.
