KOLORA Noorat remains second on the Warrnambool and District ladder, in the wake of last weekend’s round seven loss to Panmure.

The Bulldogs proved too strong for the Power, taking the win by 10 points.

Final scores were Kolora Noorat 10.12.72 to Panmure 12.10.82.

Best for the Power were Darcy Vick, Jarrod Evans, Benjamin Moloney, Ed Lee, Oscar Curran and Lucas Boyd.

Boyd and Vick both kicked four goals for the Power, while Fred Beasley and Charlie Scanlon kicked one apiece.

Only percentage now separates second through to fifth, with Panmure, Nirranda and Allansford rounding out the top five.

Kolora Noorat will head to Nirranda this weekend for round eight action.

In the reserves game last weekend, Kolora Noorat found the going tough against the ever-improving Bulldogs, going down by 78-points, 2.1.13 to 14.7.91.

The Power struggled to make any real difference on the scoreboard, kicking one goal one in the first quarter, one goal in the second and then remaining scoreless in the final half.

Jack Carlin, Joshua Freeman, George Beasley, FionnNeeson, Trent Glennen and Daniel McConnell were named among the best for the Power.

Beasley and McConnell kicked one goal each for the game.

With just two wins from the six matches played, the Power’s netballers also found round seven a tough one.

Results were as follows:

A grade – Kolora Noorat defeated Panmure 42-40.

A reserve - Kolora Noorat lost to Panmure 19-40.

B grade - Kolora Noorat lost to Panmure 28-48.

17 and under – Kolora Noorat lost to Panmure 26-41.

15 and under – Kolora Noorat defeated Panmure 21-18.

13 and under – Kolora Noorat lost to Panmure 9-16.
