Bulls shine in grand final
COORIEMUNGLE Bulls capped off a brilliant winter volleyball season by convincingly defeating Poachers in the Corangamite volleyball A grade grand final.
The Bulls led the competition all season and the win was reward for effort.
They also topped the autumn ladder before suffering a shock loss in the semi-final.
To get into the winter decided, the Bulls showed both class and consistency to dispose of the Freeballers.
Their opponents, Poachers, played well to keep NOBTS at bay in their preliminary final match but Bulls were too accomplished in the final.
Ballbusters and Slugs played the B grade challenge with the ‘Busters gaining the upper hand in the first two games.
Slugs came back in the third but didn’t have time to make up the early gap.
