Bulls take top spot
BULLS have emerged from the Corangamite Volleyball pack in round two to claim top spot on the ladder.
Bulls defeated Slugs and Ballbusters and are now the only unbeaten side – but their next matches against Poachers and NOBTS may prove more challenging.
Poachers had early trouble with the Freeballers but still won, however, their second match produced a 3-0 defeat courtesy of NOBTS.
Ballbusters scored their first win of the season over Slugs in the battle of the cellar-dwellers but some excellent rallies were witnessed.
The match of the round was the NOBTS v Freeballers clash.
Although NOBTS won easily on paper, Freeballers came home strong and will trouble the three more credentialled teams all season.
