Car catches alight near Derrinallum

COUNTRY Fire Authority (CFA) units were called to a fire on Vite Vite Road, Derrinallum on Wednesday.

A CFA spokesperson said three units from Lismore, Vite Vite and Derrinallum responded to the incident.

“CFA responded to a car fire at Vite Vite Road, Derrinallum at around 2.34pm on March 20, 2024,” the spokesperson said.

“The incident involved a car fire that spread to a nearby plantation.

“The incident was deemed under control at 3.00pm and deemed safe at 3.09pm.”
