TRAFFIC was partially blocked in Camperdown on Tuesday when a car failed to give way to a truck.

TRAFFIC was partially blocked in Camperdown on Tuesday when a car failed to give way to a truck.
Camperdown Police first constable Sam Alexander said the incident occurred at about 12.40pm at the intersection of Manifold Street and Camperdown-Lismore Road.
“The truck has stayed to the far right of the lane with his left indicator on,” he said.
“The car has come up on the left side and both have tried to turn left at the same time.
“The car failed to give way.”
No injuries were reported, but the vehicle was towed from the scene.
In other police news, a ute was reported stolen from a Bookaar property on Monday morning.
Warrnambool Criminal Investigation Unit (CIU) Detective Sergeant Andy Raven said a 2010 blue Holden Commodore Utility was reported stolen.
He said the theft occurred between 7.30pm Sunday and 7am Monday.
“The offender has attended the address, gained access to a shed and located a set of keys and stolen the ute,” Detc Sgt Raven said.
“We know that it was in the Camperdown area in the 24 hours following its theft.”
