Castledine wins at Timboon
FINN Castledine finished with 40 points to win A grade at the Timboon Golf Club last Saturday.
Members played a stableford round on the day, with Castledine winning A grade from Kevin Plozza on 39.
B grade was won by Bill Finlayson with 39 points from Mick Plozza 38 and Bryan Ward 32.
Nearest the pins: 5th Chris Huffadine, 7th and 10th Bill Finlayson and 14th Finn Castledine.
Mark McKenzie won the Nutrien ball with his second shot to the 11th while Cameron O’Flaherty won the South West Care Care ball with his second shot to the 13th.
Thursday’s chicken day was won by Rohan Johns from Brady Neale.
Finlayson also won nearest the pin.
This Saturday has been changed from three-person ambrose to par.
Last Wednesday’s 4BBB stableford was won by Heather Finalyson (26) and Biddy Wheel (35).
Runners-up were Judy Delaney (22) and Alison Walsh (24) 42 points.
Balls down the line – Karon McKenzie (24) and Lynne Newton (15) 39 points.
Nearest the pin on the second shot to the 7th was Biddy Weel and the 13th was Steph Delaney.
