The incident occurred at 6.20pm last Thursday evening on Terang-Mortlake Road, just outside Noorat between Salisbury Street and Dalvui Lane.

Warrnambool Highway Patrol Senior Constable Josh McMahon said investigators were continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision this week, and appealed for anyone with information to come forward.

“Both vehicles were extremely damaged in the collision,” he said.

An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said the occupants of each vehicle had been transported to hospital with serious injuries as a result of the collision.
