Chamber Choir set to return
THE Australian Chamber Choir will perform their eighth concert tour of Europe in July, but south west Victorians won’t need to travel half way around the world to see it.
This internationally renowned ensemble is returning to Terang this weekend on Saturday, March 2 from 3pm.
The Australian Chamber Choir will bring a program, entitled Transports of Delight, which takes the form of a virtual tour of cities where the singers have performed.
Those in attendance will visit Henry Purcell in London, César Franck in Paris, Felix Mendelssohn in Berlin, JS Bach in Leipzig, Anton Bruckner in Vienna and Palestrina in Rome.
The Australian Chamber Choir, with direction from acclaimed composer Douglas Lawrence, will bring its virtual concert tour of Europe to the Terang Presbyterian Hall.
Tickets are available online at auschoir.org/Terang, at Reicha’s Drapery or cash only at the door.
