CHRISTMAS Together in Apex Park Cobden drew a crowd on Sunday.

The Cobden and District Community Bank supported event saw residents relaxing in the sunshine listening to music, eating delicious food and chatting with friends.

Woodfired pizzas, tasty kebabs, sausage sizzle, fairy floss and milkshakes were all a big hit with the pizza’s selling out by the end of the day.

“The kids had loads of fun getting their faces painted, playing on the playground, trying spin art and sand art and getting lollies and a Bulla ice cream from Santa,” Cobden business and economic development consultant Laura Hultgren said.

“Everyone enjoyed putting their own touch on the second giant community artwork which is now full of smiley faces and will find a home for display alongside the first painting in the new year.

“Thank you to everyone who came along.”
