Close scores at Cobden

TWENTY-seven players competed in the monthly medal and putting competition at the Cobden Golf Club last Saturday.

A grade was won by H. Green on 73 nett from D. Stewart, 73 on countback.

B grade went to B. Bourke with 80 nett from A. Stevens 80 on countback.

Balls down the line: S. Rix, T. Gadner, J. Kerr, C. Sargeant, D. Absalom and Lach Green.

Nearest the pin on the 4th was C. Dobson, D. Stewart was nearest on the 7th while the closest second on the second is a jackpot.

D. Absalom was closest on the 14th.

The monthly medal went to H. Green on 73 nett while S. Rix won the putting with 26.

This Saturday will be privilege pot and round one of the Barrett Shield (stableford).
