Cobden juniors celebrate

COBDEN’S junior footballers have celebrated their 2024 season.

Under 16 Awards

A special presentation night was held at the Cobden Civic Hall last Friday for the club’s under 10s, under 12s, under 14s and under 16s.

A 180-strong crowd enjoyed the evening, which included a close count in the under 16s best and fairest award.

Congratulations to the following award winners:

Under 16

Best and fairest Lenny Walsh, runner-up Darnel Nguena, most promising Noah Bignell, most determined Adam Jopling, coach’s award Bailey Clarke, goal kicking Edmund Walsh, most consistent Jock Dean, most improved Lenny Walsh.

Under 14

Best and fairest Harry Jenkins, runner-up Fred Dean, leading goal kicker Tyler Baily, most improved Eamon Sloane, coach’s award Joshua Roberts, most consistent Max Thompson, most determined Will Darcy, best first year player Michael Benallack.
