College marks Father’s Day
STUDENTS at Camperdown College prepared for Father’s Day with a special breakfast and gift stall last Friday.
The day gave students an opportunity to spend some time with their fathers and special people prior to Father’s Day, as well as purchase a gift.
Principal Xavier Davis thanked the school’s Parents and Friends Association for “yet another” successful Father’s Day breakfast and stall.
“Breakfast was hailed a huge success with over 265 dads and special people enjoying the time with their children,” he said.
“Many dads started work late, just to be able to enjoy this celebration.
“Junior Campus students then enjoyed the chance to choose their very own gift for their dad/special person for Father’s Day on Sunday.
“A huge thank you must go to our Parents and Friends volunteers who worked hard to coordinate this event and to Woolworths and The Loaf and Lounge for their very generous donations.”
