DESPITE losing all three games, Terang College’s senior mixed netball side showed determination on the court in Colac last week.
Faced with strong opposition at Thursday’s Greater Western Region tournament, Terang showed some great passages of play in all three games.
Coached by teacher Jo Couch, the team put in a solid effort throughout the day, battling Trinity College Colac, Holy Trinity Lutheran College (Horsham) and Ballarat High.
One of the highlights of the day was the team’s nail-biter against eventual tournament winners Ballarat – which ended in a one goal loss in the dying seconds of the game.
The team comprised year nine student Edward Delaney; year 10’s Tyler Vickers, Nick Eldridge, Lucas Castersen and Ned Roberts; and year 12 students Tahlia Malady, Jess Beasley, Paeturi Hapuku and Max Fahey.
