IT IS time to dust off the dancing shoes Camperdown and get ready to rock the AG Daws Hall as Camperdown College celebrates its 100th birthday.
Organisers of the Camperdown College 100 Year Celebration on Saturday, October 15 say the Saturday night School Social will have all the makings for a great night of nostalgic events from their schooling days.
“So many wonderful events have been held in the AG Daws Hall since it was built in the 60’s and we just knew we had to throw a big School Social for everyone to come back to,” organiser Kellie Kempton said.
“From Deb Balls and School Socials, formals, graduations, assemblies, even exams! We’ve all been in the hall for so many events throughout the years.
“We’re bringing in a full band with live music from Melbourne, Cop This as well as local acoustic act Louis Oborne.
“Just seeing the set list of songs gets you excited that it’s going to be a great night.”
Ms Kempton said there will be plenty of space to catch up for a chat and a drink or dance the night away on the dance floor with those you may have shared a dance with back in your school days.
Tickets are $40 per person and include a catered supper. Drinks are available at bar prices.
Tickets can be purchased from https://tinyurl.com/100YearSchoolSocial.
The Celebration also includes an Open Day of the Senior Campus on Saturday, October 15 from 10am – 3pm with market stalls, tours, food vendors and historical displays.
