AFTER a rough few years, Timboon and district locals are being encouraged to reconnect at a barbecue this weekend.
Timboon Football Netball Club volunteer Jeff Bedggood said a barbecue will be held a the Timboon Recreation Reserve on Saturday.
“Lets reconnect after a disruptive couple years,” he said.
“Come along this weekend on Saturday to the Timboon recreation reserve on CurdiesRiver Road."
“Enjoy a sausage and the chance to chat with other locals."
“Take the opportunity to watch Timboon Demons boys and girls play football and netball against Allansford.”
Mr Bedggood said the club was looking forward to seeing the wider community attending.
He said gates open at 8am and the barbecue will be held between 11am and 2pm.
