The visitors dominated all over the ground on Saturday, making it difficult for the Demons to advance on the scoreboard.
The opening term proved the home side’s best on the board, kicking 2.1 to Russell Creek’s 6.4.
From then on it was always a case of playing catch-up for the Demons, who struggled to make any ground for the remainder of the game.
The Demons were kept to just one major in the second quarter, 1.3 in the third and were held scoreless in the last term.
Final scores were Timboon 4.4.28 to Russells Creek 18.16.124.
Lyndon Alsop, Isiah Arundell, Eddie Gaut, Samuel Newey, Ash Hunt and Ben Matthews were among the best for the Demons while Ben Newey kicked two goals and Simon Harkness and Ben Matthews each contributed one.
Timboon’s reserves are still searching for their second win of the season after going down to Russells Creek 3.4.22 to 13.9.87.
Toby Hendrix, Lex Bond, Cody Noonan, Sullivan Wallace and Dillon Stokie were among the Demons’ best while Noonan and Cory Collins kicked a goal each.
Timboon’s under 18s continue to dominate their competition, and are holding top spot on the league ladder with just one loss after 12 rounds.The Demons’ enjoyed a strong win over Russells Creek on Saturday, 17.11.113 to 1.5.11.
Eben White, Taj Quarrell, Bailey Delaney, Paddy Conheady, Richie Moorhosue and Daniel Ryan were among the best players.
Eben White dominated in front of goals, booting seven for the home side.
He was well supported by Daniel Ryan and Leroy Steere with two each, and Paddy Conheady, Bailey Delaney, Troy Groves, Jack Matthews, Richie Moorhouse and Taj Quarrell each added one.
The netball courts brought mixed results for the Demons, winning three of the six games played.
A grade – Timboon defeated Russells Creek 59-33.
A reserve – Timboon lost to Russells Creek 25-34.
B grade – Timboon lost to Russells Creek 28-37.
17 and under – Timboon lost to Russells Creek 22-58.
15 and under – Timboon defeated Russells Creek 27-10.
13 and under – Timboon defeated Russells Creek 22-21.
