INVESTIGATIONS are ongoing into the cause of a fire in Cressy Street Camperdown last Friday.

District 6 commander Peter Hall said the blaze broke out in a Cressy Street home at about 1.50pm.

He said six units attended the blaze including Camperdown, Cobden and Noorat CFA brigades.

“The house was fully involved when the first unit attended the scene,” Mr Hall said.

“It (the fire) was contained to the roof and the rear of the house.

“Fire investigation was requested and the cause is undetermined at the moment.”

No-one was at the property at the time ofthe blaze.

Mr Hall said it took about an hour to extinguish.
