Nathaniel Bourchier celebrates his first win of the summer series.

Cyclists took to the roads last Thursday in what was warm but slightly windy weather.

First over the finish line was Nathaniel Bourchier, riding his new bike, in a time of 12.10, smashing out a new personal best.

Josh finished second in 9.48 (also his fastest time and personal best) while Oliver came third (9.48), followed by Ava (12.33), Lawson (14.03) and newcomer Finny (21.23) all with great times.

The senior race saw the keen riders complete the familiar Chocolyn block, with the focus on younger riders taking turns, group work and sprint finishes.

Place getters were Todd, Josh and Shaun.

The club will spend time this season growing its senior races.

Camperdown Cycling Club welcomes all new and returning riders to join in the 2024-25 summer season.

Races are held each Thursday, with juniors marshalling at 5.15pm and seniors from 5.45pm.

Auscycling offers a free four week trial registration, available through the Auscycling website.

Alternatively, riders can phone 0407 335 546 or contact the club via its facebook page.
