Coming off a must win game the week before to make it to the finals, the team continued its strong play to the delight of senior coach Carley Hickey.
“Last two weeks have been a real team effort, everyone played their role, and stood up in those moments throughout the game,” she said.
“It’s going to be a real contest, Panmure are a much more experienced team, but finals are a funny thing.”
Hickey is confident with a full team available this week and the team’s ability to handle the pressure of tight games.
“Momentum is with us at the moment, we will take it into this week, and give it our best shot,” she said.
Final scores in the A grade game were Timboon 50 to South Rovers 46.
