Timboon and district residents attended a Timboon Action led march and service in the township.
Timboon Action president Heather Martin was pleased with how the morning went.
“Our inaugural Timboon Anzac Day march and commemorative service had an amazing community turn out,” she said.

“The highlights were the flag bearing Lighthorsemen and the haunting tones of the lone bagpipe bringing up the rear of the march.”
In Cobden, veterans, school students, young families and town leaders were among those to pay their respects at the 1st Cobden Scouts organised event.
Anzac Day co-ordinator John Wason estimated about 300 people gathered for the service.
“It was really good,” he said.
“We had a fantastic turnout from members of the public.”
Representatives from the town’s clubs and organisations, veterans, school representatives and district residents laid wreaths on the war memorial.
Mr Wason thanked all those involved in the service.
“The Scouts and Cubs were amazing with their roles and speaking,” he said.
“I’d like to thank the public for coming along and also thanks to the Cubs, Scouts and their parents for all their help.”
Port Campbell residents attended the popular dawn service, with numbers of community members paying their respects strong.
The Simpson community held a ceremony at Jaycee Park on Monday prior to Anzac Day, which drew attendance from the wider community, including the Simpson Primary School.
