LOCAL golfer Donna Conheady continued her good form on the greens, taking out the A grade women’s championship at Camperdown Golf Club.

The 2022 championships, postponed from November last year, was played at Camperdown last Saturday.

Despite the windy conditions, Conheady was able to capitalise on her first two rounds and retain a substantial lead with an aggregate score of 263 (87, 85, 91).

Tracey Baker finished runner-up on 270 (87, 94, 89) while the very closely contested B grade title went to Leah Cheeseman on 306 (95, 104, 107) who finished just one stroke ahead of Mel Fox on 307 (102, 95, 110)

The ladies’ daily stroke competition was the second leg of the February medal round.

Baker took out A grade with net 72 while Marg White finished runner-up with net 76.

Doreen Horan won B grade with net 79 while Cheeseman was runner-up with net 80.

However, it was Conheady who claimed the February medal with her outstanding round of 85 (15) 70 on Wednesday.

The January medal was also presented to Terri Sinnott for her fine round of 88 (18) 70 on January 4.
