Drink driving disappointing
CORANGAMITE Police were left disappointed after two motorists were detected with high breath alcohol readings last week.
Last Tuesday evening, Camperdown Police intercepted a vehicle in Timboon where the driver returned a breath alcohol reading of .171 – more than three times the legal limit.
Last Thursday evening, Skipton Police intercepted a vehicle in Skipton where the driver returned a breath alcohol reading of .164.
The driver was also caught speeding and on the phone at the time.
Camperdown sergeant Natalie Jorgensen said both drivers were served notices of immediate licence suspension and will be summonsed to court.
Drivers have been reminded drink driving will not be tolerated.
