Driscoll wins at Terang

SEVENTEEN players competed in last week’s stableford competition at the Terang Golf Club, with some good scores recorded in good weather.

The winner of A grade was Margie Driscoll with 38 points while the runner-up was Marion Venn with 37points.

B grade went to Jane Heffernan 34 points and the runner-up was Maureen Bond 32 on a countback from Janet Saunders 32.

Best nine went to Judy Carmody 20 points.

Nearest the pins: 3rd Cate Glennon, 9th from off the green Janet Saunders.

Balls down the line: Heather Holmes 32, Janet Saunders 32 and Judy Delaney 31.

Next week will be the Christmas break-up where members will play nine holes and then enjoy lunch.
