AN END of an era has been heralded in with the sale of Camperdown’s Commercial Hotel.
The Madden family has owned the hotel since 1966.
The popular hotel, which has a long history of supporting the community, officially settled on August 1.
The hotel is now owned by Melbourne based consortium – Black Rhino Group.
The Madden family said “it was the right time to step away from running the pub”.
