Etherton wins par event

KEVIN Etherton has played a consistent round on the Mortlake golf course to take out last Saturday’s par event.

Etherton (11) finished on +3 to win the day from Dougal Ranken (16) +2 on countback.

Wes Robertson (17) +2 finished in third place.

Nearest the pins: 3/12 Hamish Weatherly, 6/15 Kevin Etherton, 9/18 Peter Palmer.

Balls down the line went to Wes Wareham, Peter Palmer and Hamish Weatherly.

Last Friday’s twilight competition was won by Les Dawson 6-38-32 from Bruce Twaddle 14-47-33 on countback from Peter West 19-62-33.

Next week’s event will be stroke monthly medal.
