Finals continue for Tigers
THE Mininera League finals campaign continues this weekend for Woorndoo Mortlake’s netballers.
The Tigers’ A grade side enjoyed a tough battle with Tatyoon during last Saturday’s qualifying final at Caramut, going down by 16 goals, 32-48.
The side will now face Hawkesdale Macarthur in Sunday’s first semi-final at Woorndoo.
Best players for the side on Saturday were Sadie Lienert and Nicole Anderson.
The Tigers’ B grade netballers were rewarded for a strong home and away season, defeating Hawkesdale Macarthur 38-16 and earning themselves a second semi-final showdown.
They will face Ararat in Saturday’s second semi-final at Hawkesdale.
Best for the Tigers last weekend were Shona Makepeace and Brooke Eldridge.
The Tigers’ 18 and under and 15 and under teams both earned last weekend off after finishing on top of their respective ladders.
The 18 and under side will play Penshurst this Saturday while the 15 and unders will face Glenthompson Dunkeld.
The finals campaign for Woorndoo Mortlake’s C grade side came to an end last Sunday when they were defeated by Tatyoon 21-20 in the elimination final.
Best players were Holly Trajcevski and Lily Schuuring.

13 and under – 9am; 15 and under – 10am; 18 and under – 11.15am; C grade – 12.30pm; B grade – 1.45pm; A grade – 3pm.
