Fire outbreak
COUNTRY Fire Authority (CFA) units were quick to respond to a fire at the Terang Recreation Reserve over the weekend.

Four CFA units responded to the scene in addition to Victoria Police due to concerns the fire may have been suspicious.
Victoria Police and CFA investigators have since determined the fire was not suspicious, however the cause is still being investigated.
A CFA spokesperson said the fire broke out in the bar area on ‘The Hill’ at the Wayne Reicha Stand.
“CFA responded to a structure fire about 2.41pm on Saturday, April 19 on Strong Street in Terang,” the CFA spokesperson said.
“Crews arrived to find an active fire in a grandstand.
“CFA had four vehicles on scene.
“The incident was declared under control at 3.17pm and safe at 3.58pm.”
