Fire razes Cobrico home
A HOME was destroyed in Cobrico last week after a fire started in the early hours of the morning.
Country Fire Authority (CFA) units responded to a structure fire at a Cobden-Terang Road property last Friday at 2.42am.
A CFA spokesperson said the home was fully engulfed when four responding units from Cobrico and Cobden arrived on the scene.
“The incident involved a structure that was fully alight and crews worked to extinguish the fire,” the spokesperson said.
“Ambulance Victoria, Victoria Police and the local power company were all called to the scene.
“The incident was deemed under control at 3.06am and declared safe at 4.47am.”
