Four-person ambrose at Timboon
FORTY-four players competed in a four-person ambrose at the Timboon Golf Club last Saturday.
Winners on the day were as follows:
1st C. Noonan, J. Rowe, T. Ziegelaar and C. Sanders (7.375) 65 nett, 55.625.
2nd K. Plozza, W. Hollick, J. Rix and S. Plozza (5.25) 63 nett, 57.75.
3rd P. Brown, A. Horwood, B. Cook and G. Rundle (8.875) 67 nett, 57.125.
4th C. Hammond, S. Baudinette, D. Mounsey and B. Considine (10.5) 70 nett, 59.5.
Nearest the pins: 5th Cory Noonan, 7th Mick Plozza, 10th Judy Walsh and 14th Phillip Brown.
Thursday’s event was won by Gordon Broderick with 27 points from runner-up Terry O’Connor with 26.
Nearest the pin was Darryle Beames.
The stableford winner on Wednesday, April 10 was Nelle Cashmore (17) 38 points from runner-up Lynne Newton (14) 33 points.
Balls down the line went to Maureen Clements (20) 32 points.
Nearest the pin: 5th (second shot) Steph Delaney, 13th Donna Weller.
Next Saturday, April 20, will be the Bob Case Premix Concrete Day, Timboon v Camperdown at Camperdown.
