After winning the toss, the Frogs elected to bat against Boorcan on Saturday, having earlier moved the match to Noorat.

Opener Luke Delaney was bowled on 15 before Tyler Vickers was caught out on 20, leaving the side at 2/82.

Jamie Dewell came in at number three and impressed with the bat in the opening round, making a quick-firing 49 runs off 44 deliveries, including three sixes and three boundaries.

He was well supported on the scoreboard by Troy Logan with 41 and captain Tyson Royal who made 13.

Oliver Guthrie (11 not out) and Noah Bills (caught and bowled on 4) also contributed to the board.

The Frogs finished their innings on 10/185 in the 48th over.

In reply, Boorcan reached 7/196 thanks to the efforts of Max Moor (50 before out by lbw off the bowling of Tyson Royal), William Owen (unbeaten on 42) and Joseph Heffernan (not out 33).

Ecklin’s Tyson Royal was best of the bowlers for the side, taking 3-34 off 10 overs.

Luke Delaney also contributed with 2-42 from eight and Jamie Dewell finished with 1-31 off 1.
