Frost wins season finale
TATE Frost emerged victorious in the final race of the 2024 Sprintcar season at Warrnambool’s Premier Speedway last weekend.
Frost capped off the Easter Trail grand final night with a spectacular win, taking the flag ahead of Brock Hallett and Daniel Pestka in what was an action-packed night of racing.
The Super Rods also delivered a spectacular night of entertainment, with Jamie May earning his second victory in three nights.
Michael Coad continued his consistently good form to take second while Jason Kavanagh claimed third.
The always-reliable Late Models again showed plenty of grunt on the track, with Tasmanian driver Brad Smith taking the chequered flag ahead of Callum Harper.
Despite an early setback to seventh place, Chevy Edwards fought back to earn a spot on the podium, finishing in third.
Last Sunday night also marked the conclusion of the season’s track championship.
Jamie Veal triumphed in the championships, taking home the $10,000 prize money.
The crowd was invited in-field for the presentation of awards following an impressive fireworks display to mark the end of the season.
