CUPPA’S, laughs and tasty treats were in ample supply at Camperdown’s Biggest Morning Tea.

The event, an initiative of the Camperdown Business Network, was held Wednesday afternoon.

Event co-cordinator Michelle Elijah said she was pleased with the turn out on the day.

“I appreciate everyone who donated food and helped out,” she said.

“We’ve done a few take-away plates as well."

“People who couldn’t come for the day have come in and donated, which was really lovely.”

As well as afternoon tea, attendees took part in a number of games and raffles on the day.

Ms Elijah said the event was the first time the Camperdown Business Network had held it.

“I think we will do it again,” she said.

As of Thursday, more than $1100 had been raised, with further donations still to be counted.

Raffle winners were:

• Gwen Benallack painting – Kylie Warren;

• Mint Body beauty pack – Sharyn Finlayson;

• Hamper from Camperdown Business Network – May Jehu; and

• Door prize – Sue Dickson.

There were also a number of winners of games during the event.
