Gillin wins stableford

ALISTAIR Gillin has won the A grade stableford at Timboon Golf Club.

Gillin finished last Saturday’s A grade competition with 40 points, winning the event on a countback from Craig Saunders (also on 40).

Third place went to Tori Ziegelaar with 38 points.

B grade was won by Bryan Ward on 35 points, from Gordon Broderick on 34 and Barry Cook 32.

Nearest the pins: 5th and 7th Hamish Huffadine, 10th Steve Plozza and 14th Darren Smith.

Cody Noonan won the Nutrien Ball with his second shot to the 11th.

Thursday’s 12-hole chicken day was won by Mick Plozza, with Steve Plozza second.

Next Saturday will be stroke for monthly medals.
